The other day I read an ad about how The Gateway Sailing Club teach how to sail and windsurf . When I told my friends about it they had this dumbstruck look on their face which said "who in their right mind would want to learn how to sail?".
It got even worse when I told them that I horse riding and archery on my list. They stared at me as if I'd grown a second head. I like to learn things just for the heck of it. I learn because I want to learn not because I'm expecting anything out of it.
And all this while I thought people thought like me. I mean why limit yourselves unnecessarily? To see that everyone doesn't think like me is a learning experience as well as a disappointment.
