Now, I don’t know about you guys but when I heard Nostradamus’ prediction that the world was ending in 2012, I believed it word for word. Why shouldn’t it end? It has ended and begun again for millions of years. What’s the novelty?
In fact the only thing I was disappointed about was that I wouldn’t be able to celebrate my birthday if it did end on the 21st December, 2012. I know I am quite the narcissist. But, then I reminded myself that 21st December marks the beginning of the end of the world. So then I fervently wished that I wouldn’t be one of the first ones to conk off.
I know you’re judging me as you read this.
So you can imagine my lack of surprise when I heard that there were earthquake tremors felt in various parts of India with Tsunami alerts. Although, I wasn’t expecting any fireworks till December. My friend S even kept her status as “Beginnig of the end…” Quite the cliché, I know. But what can you do when you have a toy like BBM to play with?
I guess this is it for today. The world is ending and I just started a blog. Talk about terrible timing. I should have started it earlier. That way I would’ve garnered more readers. Hopefully. But, it’s OK I guess. I am happy with the 10 odd hits I get on my silly little blog. Shouldn’t ask for too much, now, should I?
First it is not nastredamus predictions, it is based on Mayan calender. The world will not end in 2012.
